Lucky

I wanted to do a big wonderful post of our vacation photos and details but have decided for now to just post something short and sweet.

As we were visiting Jamey's family it struck me how lucky my children are to be surrounded by so many people who truly love and adore them....especially their Nannie Annie.

Jamey's grandmother is wonderful! She is probably one of my closest friends and to see how much she adores our children warms my heart. They are so lucky to have her in their life. I don't know any other great grandmothers who initiate a water fight with preschoolers, can hop on and off of a boat with ease (more ease than I can let me tell you), beat EVERYONE at Wii Bowling and never tire of entertaining small children.

So, in this post I would like to honor Nannie Annie and her love for her family.

  1. I hope I hold up well enough to be like that with my great-grandchildren! I enjoyed those photos. You and your children are so blessed to have her!
My grandmothers are different. If I don't bring my kids to visit, they complain, but they have had their fill of them after 5 minutes and start complaining about their nerves. LOL

  2. Nannie Annie is the BEST, but I knew this after the first time I meet her. I love all the pictures of her and the kids enjoying each other and you can tell the she truly enjoys them, not just pretends to be entertained!
