Jamey and I get to go on a date tonight!!!!
Samuel has already been delivered to a very excited Nana and Riley is going to be delivered to Grandma around 6:00 tonight and we are off!!!!
Neither one of the grandmothers mind keeping both babies overnight at the same time but I have found that it is just more fun and easier for everyone if we split them up for overnight trips. The grandparents get to dote and give all of their attention to just one and only have to entertain and chase behind one of them and each child gets to bask in the undivided attention of the assigned grandparent. Jamey and I also feel less guilty because our kids are a handful and we have found that they are actually better behaved when they are apart. Since we know the kids and grandparents are having a stress free evening we have one too!!!!
I can't wait to go to dinner with Jamey alone and see the chick flick I am dragging him to....the new Matthew McCouna....hey hey movie....Girlfriends Past. I went ahead and bought the tickets online so he won't have a chance to try to change my mind about what we are seeing....ain't I a wittle wascal???!!! Hey, I arranged all of this so it is my choice...don't feel too bad for him!!!!

ReplyDeleteWoohoo! I hope y'all have a great time. Matt saw the trailer for that movie and groaned. I just don't enjoy watching a movie like that when Matt is beside me moaning and groaning, but romantic comedies always make me lovey-dovey, and he likes that. ;-)
